Microphone access
The voice assistant activates the microphone only after an explicit action. Access can be stopped at any time or withdrawn in browser or device settings.
Speech recognition
Speech-to-text uses the recognition service supplied by the browser or operating system. Depending on browser and device, audio may be transmitted to that provider's recognition service. Its privacy terms apply in addition.
Processing by Eastlens
In its current version, Eastlens stores neither audio files nor conversation histories on its own server. Recognised text and answers remain in browser memory during use and are discarded when the page reloads.
Speech output
Optional spoken answers use the read-aloud function available on the device or in the browser. It can be disabled inside the assistant.
Contact
The form checks whether direct delivery is available. Without direct delivery, your details are placed in an email locally in your browser, which you send in your email app. When direct delivery is configured, submitting sends the details to Eastlens and the configured delivery service. The website does not store them in its own database.
Voice is optional
All essential functions remain available by keyboard, navigation and text input. Refusing microphone access does not restrict use of the website.
Your rights
Where applicable, rights include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
The profile link leads to @eastlens.studio. Portfolio previews are served locally. Current Instagram posts are requested only after you click Load Instagram content. When connected, preview images may load from Meta servers, transmitting your IP address. If the feed is unavailable, the direct profile link remains usable. Instagram/Meta privacy notices also apply when visiting their service.
